Hyderabad Police issues a advisory against MLM fraudsters

On 5th of August Hyderabad Police issued an advisory warning against MLM fraudsters. These fraudsters are targeting housewives, young men and unemployed youth through a new modus operandi which helps them gain trust of the victims and trap them in.

Lately, a gang of four people having camaraderie with multi-level marketing fraud were taken in custody by the Miyapur Police. These four men are recognized as Subodh (The person who is the mastermind behind the scenes), Deekshit, Uday Jeevan and Rahul Malani.

These people persuaded their targets by promising high returns on investments. After a victim invested in the schemes, he got trapped they would harass the victim and force them to bring new investors.

In one of fraud cases, the gang trapped a woman and sexually harassed her. They cheated her tund of Rs 15 lakhs. Police is now asking people to resist themselves from investing in fake schemes.
