In Ghana, QNET And Mancity Have Launched The New Cimier Swiss Watch Collection

Manchester City Football Club, the English Premier League 2020-2021 Champions, welcomed reporters, authorities, and dignitaries from Ghana to the Accra Marriott Hotel to witness their crowning during the EPL’s final match.

This was a chance for QNET, an E-commerce-based direct selling organisation, to debut the third collection, and tenth watch, in the QNETCity Collection of Swiss Watches, as a consequence of a Manchester City Football Club partnership.

QNET, a Premier League Club sponsor since 2014, previously offered two limited edition watch collections in 2016 and 2018 under the famous Swiss brand Cimier. QNET’s long-standing partnership with Manchester City Football Club is reflected in the unveiling of the tenth timepiece.

The statement pieces in the CIMIER-QNETCity line of quality Swiss timepieces are bold and contemporary, with the Club’s characteristic obsidian blue symbol on the dial and the words “Official Licensed Product Manchester City FC” engraved on the case back.

JR Mayer, Director of Sales and Marketing for Swiss Watchmaker Cimier, said of the collection’s design, “The series boasts a blend of athletic and elegance, inspired by the game of football and its intrinsic geometry.”
The octagonal bezel complements the dial’s bold and energetic personality.

We thought the modest use of Manchester City Football Club’s distinctive blue on the dial and in the rubber strap threads gave it a striking and distinct look.”

The packaging for the Cimier-QNETCity Watch Collection is created from ecologically friendly materials, in keeping with QNET’s dedication to sustainability and lowering our carbon impact, as well as Manchester City’s dedication to raising awareness about climate change.

“Football is a worldwide language, spoken on the fields and in the stands, uniting players and fans with a similar passion for the game,” QNET sub-Saharian Regional General Manager Biram FALL said of the debut of this unique new collection. The same excitement and enthusiasm that City supporters have for their team is shared by QNET consumers for our business. This new series of timepieces, created by outstanding European artisans and created by master craftsmen in Switzerland at one of the oldest watchmaking ateliers, pays homage to the passion of the game and QNET’s association with Manchester City.”

The cooperation with Manchester City has already paid off in Africa.
In 2019, QNET supported three young football prodigies from Ghana, Cameroon, and Côte d’Ivoire with a summer internship in football and English language acquisition.
