Alissa Neufeld, General Counsel for LifeVantage, has joined the company’s executive team. Alissa joins LifeVantage after four years at Nature’s Sunshine, a health and wellness company.
Her legal career began at the age of 19 with a state judicial clerkship, preceded by a thrilling and winding journey that started as a legal assistant, progressed to a Ninth Circuit clerkship after law school, dived into mergers and acquisitions at a national law firm, and culminated in in-house counsel roles that eventually led her to the peak of her career now at LifeVantage.
Alissa couldn’t help but be ecstatic to meet LifeVantage’s CEO, Steve Fife, because she knew the company had something unique to offer with Steve at the helm.
“Steve was genius when I met him, but it was his positive energy and vision that attracted me to him,” she said. “I had a deep feeling that LifeVantage was about to embark on an exciting journey, and I desired to be part of this.”
Alissa found that LifeVantage was attracting not only her but also many other talented team members who were all working together seamlessly.
“A rewarding work environment and a prosperous organization need a community of optimistic and trustworthy teamwork.”
Alissa mentioned that the people she works with are the most critical factor in her job satisfaction. When she began to meet the people at LifeVantage, she realized she had been correct in assessing the community and people.
“It’s only been a few weeks, but I already know I made the right decision in choosing this business and this career path.”
Alissa is also thrilled to be a part of an organization that promotes diversity and inclusion, praising LifeVantage’s outstanding female senior management team members.
“At LifeVantage, there are no obstacles if you have the right skillset.
I’m proud and thrilled to be a part of a business that prioritizes talent and cultural fit, which this company excels at.”
Alissa also mentioned how her family culture influenced her values.
Her mother instilled in her the consequence of having a positive outlook, which she feels positively affects both her personal and professional life.
Her father instilled in her the essential yet profound importance of happiness and making others happy.
“I understand that we want to calculate performance in terms of numbers, and the numbers must be present. The most actual victory, in my opinion, is when the people around you are confident, committed, and proud of their work and accomplishments.
LifeVantage, I believe, provides the community, and I am grateful to be a part of it.”
Alissa enjoys spending time with her six-year-old twin boys and traveling whenever she can go outside of college. Exercise is also an essential part of her self-care. “LifeVantage is a health and wellness brand, and I enjoy being a part of a company that believes in well-being as much as I do.”
“I believe LifeVantage is on the verge of taking off, and I am looking forward to the ride,” she adds. With Alissa at the helm, it’s evident that this business is on the right track.
