On Sunday, October 24, 2021, Herbalife Nutrition will hold the Herbalife24 Triathlon Los Angeles. The event will begin at Venice Beach and make its way through Los Angeles’ streets. A triathlon and aquabike, a bike tour, and a 5k run/walk option for families are all part of the race.
Triathletes from all around the world will compete for a prize pool of $40,000 in this event.
Jennifer Guran, director of sports marketing for Herbalife Nutrition, North America, said, “We will provide socially distant racing choices for everyone and welcome athletes of all abilities to join the fun.” “All event participants and spectators will have access to disposable masks and sanitation facilities throughout each transition area for their safety.”
The 5k’s registration costs go to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), a non-profit devoted to finding life-changing cures, treatments, and preventions for Type 1 Diabetes.
Michelle Popoff, Executive Director of the JDRF Southern California Chapter, said, “Every dollar collected from the 5k will go to support research to enable patients one day live a life free of Type 1 Diabetes.”
