A new partnership between Klarna and Beautycounter was announced. Klarna is a platform for global payments and shopping whereas beautycounter is into safer skin and cleaner cosmetics. This partnership is a new venture to allow the customers shop for products with financial flexibility with the help of Klarna’s four equal and interest-free installments. It also foresees to expand Klarna within beauty category. While the customers are giving priority to their health and personal care, the firms are focusing on offering additional ways to to shop.

Founder and CEO of Beautycounter, Mr. Gregg Renfrew told about their mission. Their mission is to get safer products with a motive to educate about formulation and health protective laws. This partnership means interacting with customers wherever and they like to shop through more financial control and convenience.

According to the data, Gen Z shoppers have augmented their expenditure on clean beauty by nearly 26% since the pandemic has started. Personal care products such as sleeping masks, facial protective primers, concealers and peeling solutions were among consumer’s top picks list from 2 million items on Klarna app in the past years.

The All Bright C Serum is the most successful product as they had sold out six-month supply in less than three weeks during the pandemic.

Klarna’s partnership with Beautycounter is an extension of its wider push into beauty and skincare amid rising consumer demand for these categories. The company has recently partnered with Sephora, Augustinus Bader, Beauty Bay and OUAI among others in the beauty category.
