Mark Schissel has been appointed the current Chief Operating Officer of Herbalife Nutrition Ltd. Schissel will take over as CEO on August 2, 2021, succeeding David Pezzullo, who is retiring after more than 17 years with the group. “Mark is an incredible leader who has proven his ability to lead a complex global organization over the years, and we have full faith in him to lead us through our continued expansion,” said John Agwunobi, Chairman and CEO of Herbalife Nutrition. “He is a part of the company’s executive bench, which is comprised of an outstanding and competent group of individuals who will continue to lead with enthusiasm and vision.”
Schissel previously worked for Herbalife as Vice President of Enterprise Applications. Schissel will be in charge of the company’s corporate operations, global business services, regional finance and operations functions, information technology and infrastructure, and cyber and global security in his new position.
