Mylab Introduces India’s First Self-testing Kit For Coronavirus, Which Also Got Approval By ICMR.

It brings me great pleasure to announce the launch of ‘CoviSelf,‘ India’s first quick antigen self-test kit for Covid-19, by Mylab Discovery Solutions. Citizens’ self-testing is a crucial instrument for breaking the chain. This simple test is combined with Myab’s AI-powered mobile app so that a user may determine whether he or she is positive, submit the result immediately to the ICMR for traceability, and know what to do next event of a positive impact. We are confident that this tiny move will pave the way for the second and following waves to be mitigated. The Indian Council of Medical Research has given its approval to CoviSelf (ICMR).

According to a statement from Mylab, each CoviSelf test kit will include all testing ingredients, instructions for use, and a biohazard bag to dispose of the results after testing securely. People may use a nose swab to test themselves, and the test kit will offer results in 15 minutes. All persons who test positive following the test must immediately follow COVID-19 protocols, according to ICMR recommendations, and repeat testing is not necessary. According to the report, those who test negative for COVID but continue to have COVID-like symptoms should consult their doctor.

MD HASMUKH RAWAL’S STATEMENT

Hasmukh Rawal, Managing Director of Mylab Discovery Solutions, stated in a statement, “We will make millions of kits available for a fraction of the cost of equivalent kits in the US.”
