Sang Shin has been named the new President and CEO of Aloecorp, succeeding Kyeong (KS) Yoon. Beginning August 1, 2021, he assumed all tasks and responsibilities.
Since 2004, he has worked in Unigen, one of the ECONET group of firms’ sister companies, to assist company growth through accounting and financial activities. He moved to ECONET Holdings after 11 years. He subsequently served as CFO for three years before becoming COO and president for another three years. He was in charge of supervising operations at Unigen, Univera, and Aloecorp, among other associate companies.
Last year, Mr. Shin served as the CEO of Univera for seven months. From its MLM roots, he was able to transform Univera into an online-based direct selling firm.
Mr. Shin stated, “As Aloecorp Global CEO, I will focus on integrating and enhancing the synergetic benefits through the three farming and running firms, each of which is situated in the United States, Mexico, and China.” “We will continue to be the #1 Aloe ingredient source based on the highest quality, most advanced science, and exclusive processing processes from our farms, production facilities, and R&D groups.”
Mr. Shin is a Korean native who holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration. In the United States, he earned his Master’s degree in Accounting.
Today, he is the CEO of Aloecorp, a vertically integrated Aloe vera provider with operations in the United States, Mexico, and China.
