Plexus And Feeding America Have Teamed Up To Donate Over 26 Million Meals

Plexus Worldwide has partnered with Feeding America for the third year in a row to help eradicate hunger. The firm donated over $1 million to Feeding America’s Nourish One Program, which provided over 10 million meals across the United States.

Alec Clark, President and Founder of Plexus Worldwide, remarked, “I’m humbled by the enormous commitment our Plexus family has shown in making the Nourish One project a success.” “Our relationship with Feeding America reflects our aim of every American having hope, health, and happiness. We think that no one can afford to be complacent and that we must all work together to ensure that no family goes hungry.”

The firm is continuing its collaboration for another year, this time at the Leadership Partner level, which is awarded to organizations that provide more than $1 million and 10 million pounds of food and goods, or a combination of $500,000 and 5 million pounds of food and groceries.

“We’ve witnessed the pandemic’s enormous impact in our neighborhood and throughout the country,” said Tarl Robinson, CEO, and Founder of Plexus Worldwide. “With the rise in food insecurity in the United States, our collaboration with Feeding America is more important than ever. We are privileged to be a part of this critical initiative, and we are committed to playing a critical role in the battle against hunger.”

Medifast Introduces The Optavia App As Part Of A New Digital Experience Focus

The OPTAVIA app has been launched by Medifast, the parent company of the direct selling business OPTAVIA. Clients will have access to their order history, autoship data, account information, Lean & Green recipes, and more through this digital tool. The software, which was released earlier this month, has almost 150,000 downloads.

Medifast has opened a new office in Lehi, Utah to house experienced experts in digital analytics, engineering, user experience, and other areas as part of its investment in digital infrastructure. This new section will be tasked with improving digital goods and processes, as well as gaining data insights to drive future designs. One of the first digital experience products produced by the office is the OPTAVIA app.

“We’re giving Coaches the tools they need to successfully assist their clients as we continue to develop and extend our products via the use of new technologies,” said Dan Chard, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Medifast. “We are dedicated to creating digital solutions that make it simpler for Coaches to help their clients and for Clients to adopt healthy behaviors so that we can influence more lives in the end.”

Clients should be able to use the new software to supplement the work they’re currently doing with their coach’s supervision and make healthy behaviors simpler to adopt.

Nicholas Johnson, President, Coach and Client Experience, said, “We’re dedicated to providing an iterative digital experience to our OPTAVIA Community and, above all, an unparalleled Coach and Client experience.” “Every day, our independent Coaches fuel our goal, and we’re committed to providing tools that help our community become more productive, efficient, and successful via the use of technology.”

OPTAVIA Connect, a new app for OPTAVIA Coaches, is in the works and should be ready by the end of the year.
