Three of Herbalife Nutrition’s leadership responsibilities will be rearranged and reassigned by the company’s Board of Directors. Alan W. LeFevre was just chosen as the board’s lead independent director. The compensation committee will be chaired by Maria Otero, who had been acting as the Board’s temporary lead independent director. The audit committee will now be chaired by Don Mulligan.
“We are thankful to Maria Otero for serving as both the lead independent director and the head of the compensation committee, and we look forward to her continuing contributions to Herbalife Nutrition,” said John Agwunobi, Chairman and CEO of Herbalife Nutrition. “Alan and Don bring a wealth of expertise and understanding in finance and consumer products to our Board of Directors, and we look forward to their advice as we build the groundwork for Herbalife Nutrition’s next phase of expansion.”
Since 2018, LeFevre has been a member of the Herbalife Nutrition Board of Directors, and he previously served as the chair of the audit committee. Mulligan was appointed to the Board of Directors in March 2021.
